• MEET THE TEAM

Danielle Duran

After working as an in-house marketer and for various marketing agencies, Danielle made the decision in 2017 to venture out on her own to start Boxwood Digital Marketing. She knew two things: she wanted to be able to bring her expertise to clients directly, and to have a shorter commute. Danielle’s diverse background in marketing includes everything from eCommerce websites, to pediatric offices, to iPhone apps. What she loves most about marketing is being able to mix deep analysis with creativity on a daily basis.

Danielle was born and raised in sunny Arizona and currently lives in Morrison, Colorado with her husband Mike, son Abram, 2 dogs, and 1 cat. She gets to do what she loves every day and doesn’t have to drive as far to do it.

Kellen Renard

Kellen has a deep love for good writing and a debilitating fear of the deep sea. She chose copywriting because it could bring her two greatest passions together: words and not being eaten by a Great White.

Before her trip up to the Rockies, Kellen graduated from the University of Missouri with a bachelor’s in Journalism, emphasizing in Strategic Communication & Copywriting. After graduating she spent some time in St. Louis working on experiential marketing campaigns and learning how to parallel park. She has ran the marketing gamut working on social, experiential, digital, OOH, and print campaigns for a variety of agencies and in-house teams. The pinnacle of her career came when they got to name a monster truck for Bud Light. They scrapped the whole concept the following week. She now calls the Mile High City home and has racked up a hefty dividend on her REI Co-Op card.

Jessie O’Brien

Jessie is a writer who grew up in Arvada when the whole town smelled like Jolly Ranchers because the plant sat near 50th and Ward Road. Neon lights and an opportunity beyond waiting tables lured her to the Mojave Desert. She graduated from college at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, where most geniuses go to study. In Vegas, she wrote for a weekly magazine and saw a few D-list celebrities like Carrot Top and Vince Neil dining in neighboring booths at various restaurants. Jessie had a brief stint on the Western Slope, working as a reporter for The Durango Herald. She thinks it’s very nice there.

Jessie loves copywriting and learning about new people and their businesses. She is now back in Arvada, where it no longer smells like Jolly Ranchers.

Are you located in the Denver area? Let’s grab coffee or chat over a beer! We’d love to meet you.
